The most important part of SEO is percent conversion. This is more important than being position one on Google for a major keyword. Percent conversion should drive your SEO effort. Traffic that does not convert is worse than worthless. The bandwidth cost you money and it slows down your server. So ranking high for a keyword that does not convert actually hurts you.
