In our SEO work we try to send PR or page rank to our most important pages, like, our home page. Most people alsi try to send link love to product pages and restrict the juice from going to the contact page.

Pagerank is passed via anchor text that causes keyword to be tagged to pages. This is how the algorithm works.

Very Long Tail

Over 90% of traffic is long tail. In fact, the top 10,000 terms account for only 18.5% of traffic. That means that you should put more effort into getting those very long tail searches. For one thing, it is easier to rank for long tail, and for another it is the bulk of internet traffic.

Many people pay top dollar to the SEO firms to rank high for a few terms when they should focus on going after the very long trail.

Also, search engines look to see the flavor of the domain.

Digg friendly content to boost SEO

One method of getting links and exposure is to create Digg friendly content to drive traffic to your website. It is a strategy that consists of making a general audience article that is highly relevant and appeals to the users of social communities.

Many of us wonder how search engines will operate in the days to come. Well, the future of SEO can be seen as a combination of AI (artificial intelligence) and natural language. People will search from a cellular telephone using voice commands.

Many may see this as scifi, but consider how powerful computers are today and how they keep getting more powerful and less expensive all the time. If a person from the 1958 were to time travel to today 50 years in the future they would be amaze at the power we have. Imagine the next 50 years.

SEO is not a game. It is a way to get people to see what you have to offer. A way to get people to see your web site.
