Importance of choosing proper keywords

You keyword choice will make you or it will break ya! Most customers do not see why having me increase their sales by 10% of their star product is a lot more productive use of my time and their money, than for me to get number one rank on Google for some low traffic keyword for some dog product that is not making it.

I spent a lot of valuable time pushing SEO and optimizing landing pages for maxiumum conversion to boost sales for a brand new product that brought in just $5,000/mth, when I could instead have put all that effort into pumping up sales for the firm's star product that was bringing in over in $1.2 million/mth. All that effort that was wasted on the dog product that was later cut.

will digg for food?

Social network sites may desire to ban individual who post negative comments. They also may also wish to ban an individual who constantly spam the site with off topic posts. They want new content.

We can laser focus on exciting new content, and not pile on to the bandwagon. The problem with social networking is that there are only a few individuals at the top of the pyramid. Many webs have super powerusers that rule the top of the heap. These king of the hills with their armies of "diggers" which are called upon to vote up their main stories, rule the roost. So it is hard for newbies to get to the top. What to expect, more of the same.

SEO providers

What can we expect from SEO providers? OK, so most of their work is link building. A small part is optimizing pages to get good rank, but what about metrics and analysis? Do they work on sales copy to increase conversion?

It is a good idea to find out what areas of expertise your SEO master has. Most do not do everything, but specialize in certain areas.

Keyword Research

I have used the google keyword tool, nichebot, and keyword discovery. Actually my favorite SEO tool is Google. The others are expensive, but not all I want. Indeed, we must move beyond keyword research to understand what our users desire.

The important thing is to fill a need. First we must find a need. For example, many unemployed need jobs, cheap housing, inexpensive food. After you find the need then work hard to fill it.
