Plug in the power

Using Lithium ion batteries the Toyota Prius can be run on electric power. This is great news. We can cut down on oil consumption.

Still, the plug in hybrids are more expensive than regular gasoline cars. Hopping on the bandwagon is the GM Volt coming out in 2010, which should work fine with a new lithium ion battery. The future is here.
